Chile : Greenhouse Project

Mission

To raise money in order to build greenhouses for the families in Chile fighting food insecurities.

Co.Act partnered with Crop of Love of Arts Club to hold an art exhibition at the National Assembly of the Republic of Korea to raise money for those affected. Co.Act’s high school clubs also held individual fundraisers to raise money for Chile. As an organization, we created a banner of hope to provide emotional support to the people in Chile.

Result

Co.Act fundraised $5000 and sent the money to an NGO in Chile that aided areas that were affected by natural disasters, and donated it specifically to aid in building greenhouses for children who were orphaned after a mine collapse. Our “Banner of Hope” was also given to the children to help them live through this difficult time.
